Privacy Policy

Last updated 16 July 2026

This policy explains what information Design Subscriptions collects when you visit the site, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose.

Who we are

Design Subscriptions (https://designssubscription.com) is a curated directory of design subscription companies, operated by Eugene Suslov (busyless.space). You can reach us any time at eugene@busyless.space.

Information we collect

You can browse the entire directory without creating an account or giving us any personal details. We do not run contact forms, and we do not ask you to sign up.

The only information we collect is:

  • Anonymous usage data through Google Analytics 4, and only with cookies once you accept them. This includes pages viewed, approximate location (from your IP, which Google truncates), and general device and browser information. It is used to understand which content is useful.
  • Outbound click events. When you click through to a listed company, we record that a click happened and which company it pointed to, so we can see which listings people find worth exploring. It is not tied to an identity.
  • Your cookie choice, stored in your browser so we do not ask again on every visit.
  • Anything you email us. If you write to us, we receive your email address and message.

Cookies and consent

Analytics cookies are off by default. When you first visit, a banner asks whether to allow them, and no analytics, advertising, or personalisation storage is set until you accept (this is Google Consent Mode v2, denied by default for every storage type). Your answer is saved in your browser’s local storage under the key ds-cookie-consent. That value stays in your browser and is never sent to us.

If you decline, GA4 stays in cookieless mode: it may still count a page view or an outbound click without storing anything on your device or identifying you across visits.

To withdraw consent, clear this site’s data in your browser, and the banner will appear again on your next visit.

How we use information

We use usage data only to measure how the site is doing and to improve the comparisons and articles. We do not sell your personal data, we do not share it with data brokers, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Company data in the directory

The pricing, services, and company details in the directory come from public sources: each company’s own website and published reviews. They are business details, not personal data about you, and nothing you do on the site is added to them.

Blog and admin accounts

Our blog runs on Payload CMS. Accounts exist only for us, the people who write and publish the posts, and store a name, an email address, and a hashed password. There is no public sign-up, no commenting, and no newsletter, so visitors never create an account here.

Third parties

We rely on a small number of trusted services:

  • Google Analytics (Google LLC) for the anonymous usage measurement described above.
  • Vercel for hosting and content delivery, including its Blob storage for the images on our blog. Vercel processes standard server request logs.
  • Neon for the Postgres database behind our blog.
  • Airtable for the company data in the directory. It holds our research, not visitor data.
  • Design subscription companies we link out to. Some outbound links are partner or affiliate links, and our partner Awesomic is a labelled paid placement. Once you leave our site, the company’s own privacy policy applies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to its processing. Because we collect so little, this usually just means any email correspondence. Contact us at eugene@busyless.space and we will help.

Children

Design Subscriptions is aimed at people buying design services for a business and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date at the top shows when it last changed. For questions, see our Terms of Use or email us.
